The roses are readily available in hobby shops, or material shops, in a variety of colours. leaves were made with a miniature leaf punch and added to the stem. The pot is made from quilling paper, tightly rolled and then extended to create a plant pot shape – this size took about four strips. Glue rubbed across the outside ensured the shape stayed in place, and gave the pot a slight glaze. The ‘earth’ is glue mixed with dried tea leaves, and the ‘rose bush’ was inserted before the glue dried to ensure it stayed in place. The end result looks lovely in a dollshouse garden or conservatory.
